Gateway Upgrade South and South East Busway Extension

 

Asphalting works will be taking place on the Gateway Motorway and Pacific Motorway at Rochedale, between 8pm and 5am from Thursday 31 October to Thursday 14 November 2013, weather permitting, as part of the Gateway Upgrade South and South East Busway extension.

 

During these works, some on-ramp closures will be required in addition to single lane motorway closures. The detour maps and dates below detail the necessary on-ramp closures and alternative routes.

 

What to expect during these works:

– Traffic controls and detour signage will be in place to guide motorists.

– The speed limit will be reduced to 40km/hr during works hours to ensure the safety of motorists and road workers.

– Police will be present to ensure the safety of motorists.

– Some noise and lights associated with construction vehicles and equipment.

– Minor traffic delays may be expected.

Temporary on-ramp closure required from 8pm to 5am on the following nights:

– Thursday 31 October

– Friday 1 November

– Wednesday 6 November; and

– Thursday 17 November.



Miles Platting on-ramp to the Pacific Motorway southbound

Temporary on-ramp closure required from 8pm to 5am on the following nights:

– Monday 4 November

– Tuesday 5 November; and

– Friday 8 to Thursday 14 November, excluding Saturday and Sunday nights.
