The Rochedale Road And Priestdale Road Intersection

I am happy to share the Rochedale Road and Priestdale Road Upgrade in Rochedale has now been completed.

This project will improve safety and overall intersection operation for all road users as well as ensure it can cater for future traffic demands.

This is thanks to the $14 million contribution from the former Coalition Government that I secured for this project.

The Rochedale Road and Priestdale Road intersection was a single lane roundabout located on the boundary of the Brisbane City Council Local Government Area (LGA) and the Logan City Council LGA and carries approximately 19,200 vehicles daily and road users during peak hour traffic, particularly at school drop-off and pick-up times.

Here is the timeline for this project:

• Late 2021 – early works
• January 2022 – construction started
• Late 2022 – end of construction.
