Fighting for a Koala Kindy
It is no secret that the Koala is an iconic symbol worldwide for Australia’s wildlife! It saddens me that despite continual efforts to spread awareness surrounding the need for koala conservation, we continue to see a dramatic decline in koala numbers across the country.
I have been advocating for a ‘Koala Kindy’ here in Bonner, facilitated by the incredible team at the Queensland Koala Society in Chandler. A ‘Koala Kindy’ would not only prove vital in the fight to saving our koalas, but also presents an incredible educational tool for local schools and universities.
