Stronger Communities Program

The Turnbull Coalition Government has extended the Stronger Communities Programme. Grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 are available to schools and other not-for-profit organisations and groups for small capital projects in the Bonner community (see below for past successful projects). The grant amount will cover up to 50 per cent of eligible project costs. You can fund your share of eligible project costs from any source including state and local government. Your contribution can be either cash or in-kind

My office will be accepting expressions of interest from now until Friday, 25 August 2017. More information is available at Please also find below a link to the Round 3 guidelines, as well as an expression of interest form.

For applicants who are registered for the GST (and can therefore claim GST credits in relation to their project expenditure), total project costs should exclude GST.

For applicants who are not registered for the GST, total projects costs should include the GST inclusive amount, less any GST credits that you can claim in relation to that expenditure.
